A FUN EXERCISE FOR THE MIND. No doubt Sherlock Holms would have found this book usefulFeb 26, 2011
By D. Blankenship This is the first book in a wonderful series of like works. I find these books to be absolutely addictive and confess to having six in the series at this time.
Each page of this particular spiral bound book consists of at least two pictures which are at first glance identical. These are very high definition pictures in full color covering a very wide range of subjects from still life of food groups, forest scenes, groupings of various items, pictures of people and animals, flowers, toys, packages, grocery store shelves, and on and on and on.
The book is broken down in to various (four) levels of difficulty. There are five pages of level 1, 46 pages of level 2, 87 pages of level 3 and 128 pages of level 4. Answers to each puzzle can be found in the back of the book. All photographs are in color.
Each set of pictures has at least five or six differences and this can go all the way up to fifteen or sixteen differences. You are told how many differences can be found in each set of pictures before you start the puzzle.
I find this (these) book(s) quite valuable. I am a visual learner and my powers of observation, what little I have, are quite important to me. Most of my hobbies and pastimes involve visual observations in one way or another. Like any other part of our body, the brain needs to be exercised. This is particularly true of the young and the elderly like me. This book is a tool I have found to be quite useful.
Of course not everything need be absolutely practical. I find these books to be just plain fun...truth be told.

The pictures in this book make me think of summer during this long winter weather in Michigan. It gives a break from the gloom and cold.

I first started these when I would get a "People" magazine, then I found these books. They are great for passing the time & they keep your mind sharp. Or that's what I tell myself. I bought 3 different books at the time I got this one. Gave one to my daughter & kept the other two. I am just about to finish up the second book & ready to order more. If you like puzzles you'll like these.
Good Brain Exercies...Aug 03, 2011
By M. Cooper This is a fun way to get that brain functioning. I leave mine in the bathroom for people to use while taking care of business. I did put a note on mine asking people to write their answers on extra paper (provided by me) so they wouldn't circle items in the book and spoil fun for others.
